Action in a clay court
Tennis has always been my favourite sport. The challenge of excelling individually, the beauty of the shots, the coordination and discipline…
I couldn't resist capturing the movement on a clay court during the golden hour. There are many elements to get right: the player, the racquet, the ball and, of course, the court. And this particular court adds an extra layer of complexity, the clay. Which turned out in many failures.
I created a model and tested a consistent character for the first time. To better portray the dynamic action, I chose the Phantom High-Speed camera and played around with different angles.
Re-styling your portraits with AI
I created several models for a client needing to illustrate an AI feature that generates stunning business-like portraits from simple selfies. They also required a variety of ethnicities to properly localize these assets for different markets.
This project was a great exercise for me to train consistent character creation. All models were created with Midjourney and edited with Photoshop.
Drowning in a puddle
Midjourney is now capable to create very realistic photos in any way we like. But it also opens the door to create very realistic optical illusions. I came across this idea of people drowning in a puddle in the middle of a road after a rainy day.
Disturbing or not, these were some of the results I felt like sharing. I managed to capture a different range of emotions: serenity, submission, struggle, fear… What else do you see? These were shot with a Canon Cinema EOS.
